I love it!! Those are sweet.  Way too purdy not to use.

Impressive workmanship. Talk about commitment! Wow.

were to be surrounded by wicked men. This makes him strong
and able to take on anything, even things which seem difficult or
impossible to most people. St. Symeon

Real nice and about time you posted a pic of your arrows!

Working on some primitives myself.

One tip though, Ohio law says hunting heads can not have barbs on the head. I understand the base has to be rounded or at least not barbed as a couple of yours appear to be. Also, make sure they're 1 1/4" wide to remain in good standing with your local game officer.

Good job! Yours look much better than mine do. Do you use a jig and do you grind your own fletchings?

are they sharp to hunt with?

did you glue the feathers and stone tips?

they look awesome btw, i like the first one in the 3rd picture.

Nice arrows, Stoned! They ought to do the trick.   Like Joe said some are barbed. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th from the left are barbed as far as North Carolina is concerned. What I do with heads is use a pressure flaker to remove the barb after the point is hafted.
Make the most of all that comes and the least of all that goes!

It's good to see a person who can make his own bows and arrows.

The rewards are great when you take game with stuff made by your own hand.

Thanks for sharing.

God bless,Mudd

Jeff, great looking arrows, you did a fine job on them! In third pic, three on the right from same type of rock? Three on the left from three different types of rock? All look deadly and ready to help you get that OH deer you want, good luck with your hunts with them.  :clapper:

I may have been wrong on the width but, I know somewhere there were rules about barbs. I investigated this some years ago, though the rules can change. Also, somewhere in your game law book there is a statement about those not being the only rules just the basics.
Don't mean to upset you as your work is really good. I'm just trying to watch your back Brother. Wouldn't be worth a fine or confinscation of items made if.n you were ever stopped and checked!

I'll be rooting for your success!!!

Here's one I took a few years ago with a Woody Blackwell head! Thanks Woody!
