I just got my arrow dynamics in from badger arrow, nice arrows and service by the way, and I have some grizzly stik alaskan inserts for them.  Well I have stingers and that's what I plan to hunt with but it appears the insert is just slightly larger than the ferrell.  Not enough to hurt my confidence in my set up, but for some reason I like to over analyze my bow/arrow set up and this seems like an unnecessary penetration impediment.  I was just wondering if anyone else ever noticed that or am I being too nit picky because it is just barely bigger than the ferrell.

I shoot Stingers on 2216s wchich are 11/32.  No problems.  Not sure I ever even noticed it until now.

I don't know if the stingers have different ferrells for different weights, but mine are 125 gr.

The 150's have larger ferrules but they take the same main blades/bleeders.  I'm not sure if they're bigger at the base or not I'll have to check on that.

Only problem I could think you would have is some noise from the air hitting the insert since the ferrel and insert do not match. The hole from the broadhead will be enough that the arrow won't be effected as it passes into the deer.
