Well today I re-served my nock point 1/8th of an inch from its previous location .This was due to my arrows hitting 1" inch below my intended target spot. So I was wondering if there are any other anal tuners here who do micro tuning to there set up.    :coffee:

"Micro Anal Tuning"? Isn't that for wheelie bows?   ;)

Tell ya the truth... If my nock point is about 1/8" too low my shots go all over the place.

Concern about nock point being off 1/8th" isn't anal. 1/16th?...maybe, although I know shooters whose form is good enough they could tell. (definitely not mine!) Heck, I can get that much variance in the measurement from how much downward pressure I exert when I clamp the bow square on the string.  If you use the narrow bar type like (Potawatomi) it's not as simple as it sounds when you use a thick rest like seal skin.  I split a short length of arrow shaft length wise and taped it to the bottom of the square to make the arrow/shelf contact more repeatable.  Maybe that makes me anal too.....Heh I resemble that remark!

An eighth is a lot when it comes to nock height.

It sure is alot.  I twist mine before setting it solid about a 1/16" or less at a time.

I had it set up so above the nock would shoot my 125gr and below the nock would shoot my 160gr.
