I have a thunderstick III that is 45#@28" I'm drawing 26".I purchased some Beman Classic 600 and had them cut to 28".They fly great. With a 125 gr Stinger 2-blade they weigh in at 440gr.I'm also thinking of using some Zwickey Delta 2-blades which should bring me up about to about 490 grs.

Just looking for some advice on overall arrow weight for my set-up.I'm limiting my shots to 15yds only.
Thanks for the help,

David

Perfect, don't loose a lick of sleep over it. At 15 yards you can put it right where you want to every time. That Stinger two blade will put them to sleep real quick.

I have a personal minimum at 500 gr, but with whitetails, you should do fine with the 440 gr.  However, if the Deltas fly just as well and you can get them sharp, they would be my choice.  Just remember good arrow flight trumps arrow weight as the number 1 factor in arrow performance / penetration.   :readit:

Have confidence in your choice and concentrate on your spot.      :archer:

With your 15 yard and in limit; (Take good high percentage shots) your set up will let the air out of a whitetail.
