I've been at this trad stuff since 2002 and love it all! Did not put any big game down yet but I'm still gonna give it my best this season. Had many "almosts" so I know it's a matter of time. Don't care much for tree stands or store bought blinds. Stalking and still hunting blows up my skirt. Wish Me Luck! Gonna need it.

It will all come together if you use Honey Bunny I or Honey Bunny II !!! Really I mean it!!   :biglaugh: !

Good luck.  I'm also looking to score my first trad kill.  I think we both will get ourselves "on the board" this year.

Killdeer

I am feeling that it is about time to kill something, too! I go at it like Mikey, on the ground and playing the wind.

I am wishing you luck, buddy, and hoping that the deer spirits will gift you for your perseverance.
It always feels to me as though I have been accepted into the Whole of Creation, and the purity of my heart rewarded, when a deer gives itself to me. I hope that you will feel that this year.

Good luck buddy...and quoting your Longbow Idol, Little Woodie..." You need to spend more time in the woods, be able to hunt in all kinds of weather." " Spend less time on the couch and more time in the timber."

It's in the cards for you..You only fail when you give up...That's not you...

I've been shooting trad my whole life and finally got old enough to deer hunt in 1998. Since then i've only taken two deer but loved every minute of time spent out there!

Don't feel too bad.  Trying to stalk and kill whitetails in the eastern woodlands is very difficult.  I admire your dedication.
