I have Rineharts and Field Logic Glendale full rut. I also shoot Morrell bag targets with field tips.  When I'm throwing them in UTV for placement in the woods I like the Rineharts. When I'm setting up my basement range or shooting from my deck to open ground I like the Glendale.  Of course the Morrell bag lasts a very long time and is very economical.

have the glendel full rut target.yes its big but it comes apart for easy transport.imo a bigger target is better.i have had my full rut buck for three years now.i shoot the hell outta it,take it to hunting camp every year and 3-5 guys shoot the hell outta it some more.the trick is to buy a replacement core and use broadheads on one and field points on the other.the body parts are replaceable individually.just a great deer target all around...rineharts are a good one also.i like mckensie targets but they are priced pretty high.

Ive owned a couple river bottom bucks, a glendale, and more than one Mckenzie. Been shooting the Reinhart Bowhunter buck for the past 2 years.. and let me tell you there is no comparison IMO.  the reinhart is still stopping every arrow out of my 70# bow, and I shoot 5-6 days a week.
Got mine off of fleabay for $175.00.

I wouldn't recommend the "Shooter" from Glen Del.  I only shoot 46 lbs but I usually get two holes thru the insert.  I know that my Centaur is a special bow but you shouldn't get full penetration on a new target.  They advertise the insert to be larger than most other targets, but it's only larger in the front and pulls out easily with the arrow.  I'm afraid it won't even last one short pre-season.

I got the broadhead buck delivered for $170. You just need to watch for the sales that happen every once in a while on the auction site.

oups,

guess my last post was deleted because i cut and pasted a website adress, lol.

When i was shooting in a 3d championship in France they used French made targets named Natur'Foam. Very nice (shape and colors) and resilient.

With the rate of $$ vs Euros it can be very interesting i think.

Thanks for the input guys.  On the GlenDel Buck (the regular size, not the full rut) what is the bar below the vitals many of you have mentioned?  I can't seem to find anything regarding the construction of the target that shows me where and what the bar is?  Anyone have a picture?  I unfortunately just don't have the budget for the bigger Rineharts and the small one looks like a fawn that just lost it's spots.    :bigsmyl:   I'd lose or ruin more arrows missing that thing -- I'm not the greatest shot!   :biglaugh:

Thanks in advance.

Rinehart would get my vote.

I would avoid the GlenDel at all costs! Shot one at a buddy's camp and broke a bunch of arrows. Seems like an awfully dumb placement for an arrow busting bar.

I bought a Glendel 3 weeks ago ($149) and have not broken an arrow yet. Maybe they found a way to eliminate the bar. I've shot plenty of low shots too. I like it way better than the river bottom.
