In Mitchell south Dakota waiting for cabelas to open. Just 546 more miles. Then we will be in ten sleep WY. I love the hunt but not the drive.I hope everyone has a great and safe hunt

I'll be following that same road in a couple of weeks headed to the same area of WY. (Bighorns)

I've gotten to where I don't mind the drive so much any more.  It is all part of the journey, and I relish every part of it.  Whenever I leave for a trip I consider the start of it to be when I pull out of the driveway.  The anticipation of what is to come helps the miles role away.

Enjoy your hunt here in the Cowboy state! I'm leaving this morning to a favorite place in the Bighorns; will get a couple of days fishing before Wednesday's elk opening. Life is tough!
