Colorado bow season starts tomorrow.  I am leaving in 2  hours.  Last night I went to bed at 10:30 and went to sleep at 3:30.  My mistake was reading E.D Thomas' article about long bows. This will be my 19th season with Trad gear and I am still giddy as a kid the night before Christmas. I can say 'Christmas' on trad gang right?  I don't have to say 'the winter holiday'.

Down here in South Fl our archery season is actually coming to an end on private land. Can still hunt till January for the most part but its bucks only.

I'll give you all an update.  My one and only opportunity to shoot a deer, (I have an  either sex license) a doe came buy my stand just like I planned when I hung that stand --- but --she had a very cute, spotted fawn with her.  Of coarse she stood broad side for 5 minutes facing left then right, then in this shooting lane then that lane and then wondered off......  I'll be back out there this coming week for 10 days.  I've also got a bear license, and turkey license.  So >>>------------>
