Which feathers do I use for flu flu arrows? Wings or tail? I'm attempting to make some cheapo squirrel arrows with the full feather wrapped around the shaft. Will either one work?

If you make spiral flu flu arrows you can use opposite wing feathers than what you shoot. Just wrap them so feather lays natural. It will not affect how they fly.

Good point.  And with the spiral fletch you only need one full length feather per arrow.  And they slow an arrow down better than 4 or 6 fletch flu-flus.

But they are quite loud.
