Just finished this Osage Selfbow this morning. Its 55" ... 60#@28" Deer Rawhide backing (my first with raw hide). A real sweet shooter ..Look and it hits !!!! It has a Elk Hide handle wrap.. Small shelf cut. Thanks for looking ... Jeff

   

   


   

That is a beauty for sure.  Shopping around for my first stave as I type this.  Can hardly wait to get to making shavings.  It'll be my first attempt.  I'm fortunate enough to have met a fellow ganger at work who has a lot of experience with osage selfbow making.

Nice bow

House ... go for it. Take it slow ...and never when working belly down to get draw lenth and weight "PULL" over your "final" draw weight at any point(KEEP CHECKING). It you stick to this you'll get a working bow out of any stave. Good luck !! Jeff
