Last Friday night, along with friends Pat and Mike, I piled into Pat's F-150 and heading for the Casper, Wyoming area to hunt antelope with Cole Creek Outfitters.  We made it back home yesterday morning with coolers full of the tasty antelope meat and some great memories.

This was my first out-of-state hunt and first outfitted hunt.  I have to tell ya a guy could really get used to seeing P&Y antelope bucks all over an 88,000 acre ranch with only 3 guys hunting.  Our outfitter Kelly Glause did a great job of having nice and roomy blinds over some VERY active waterholes.

Pat and Mike had there bucks early on the first day.  Took me until about 1:00 after I passed up a nice buck early.  I made a poor shot that required quite a tracking job.  Pat, Mike, and Kelly helped me out big-time to keep the buck moving and eventually lead me to a follow up shot to atone for my mistake.  Couldn't have recovered the buck with out them.

I missed a doe at a distance too close to mention the next day.   :knothead:   The third day I made a good shot on a doe.

I was using a 58" Black Widow PSAX 55@27" that I traded TradGanger "Masham Man" out of this winter. CX250s and 150gr Woodsmans.

Here's a pic of one of the very nice blinds on the ranch.  These blinds were at least 7' tall and probably the big in diameter.  The shooting holes allowed us to shoot standing up.  Good thing I spent all summer shooting from a chair in my pop-up blind!   :knothead:

Looks pretty good.  Hunting in shorts and tee shirt, I can only dream about that.  Good job on the goats.
