I recently aquired a 52" 45# bear magnum recurve off craigslist for 50 bucks and I was wondering what weight aluminum or carbon arrow should I be looking at for 125g points and broadheads.  My draw is 28" thanks for any help

1916 cut to 29" will get you real close and tune from there.

A .600 spine carbon should work well and there are a few good ones. I would do some bareshafting and use shaft length/weight of brass insert to fine tune. A 30" .600 spine carbon with 50 to 100 grs. of insert and 125 gr. points would be a point to start and may be very close to right. You will probably end up 425 to 500 grs. total weight.
