I went to the zoo today.  The only thing I could do, was keep picking a spot on every single animal I saw. My wife thought it was a little weird.   :bigsmyl:

LOL! Even stranger is when you take your turkey call to the petting zoo just to hear them gobble.  :goldtooth:
Just one more step please!

The time is getting near.

I`m glad I`m not alone.

Saw a young of the year dear on a walk last week.  Her spots were just about gone.   The corn is starting to turn yellow, it won't be long.

Today was the first day in over a month that we didn't break 100 degrees.  It only got to 93 today and hunting season felt a tiny bit closer.

I can't wait until saturday! Sunday I had two decent 4x4 mulies come in on me while I was building a deer blind,at high noon! Yesterday with my great luck I have while hanging an elk stand a bunch of cows and calfs came in and agian this was 11:30 am. Well if I didn't spook them all I might be in for a good hunt this weekend.

Like Pac said, the 100 degree days (17 in a row here in North TX) are almost over. Daylight is getting shorter, there was actually a breeze from the north this AM, and that first quarter Moon chasing the Sun right at dusk are all welcome signs the best time of the year is just around the corner!     :archer:
