I am not much of a poster here, but a daily lurker. But I felt that I should post something to let you all know what a great expericence it was to deal with American Leathers who make the Big Shot gloves.
:clapper:
I am a big fan of the BS glove for 6 years now, and can't see myself ever using any other glove. Ater getting one from a sponser here, it seemed to be a little different compared to the original one that I own.  I decided to email American Leathers to inquire if they were now using a different leather.

I sent an email on Sat. evening.  Sunday evening I had a telphone call from the owner John Turner to answer my questions. We had a nice talk not only about the glove but about archery and bows. He asked me to send him the glove so he could inspect it since their quality control is very good.

A few days later I received another call from John that he received the glove. The glove was perfect (just me not being used to a new glove).
Since I like a little thicker glove, he suggested the Buffalo BS glove rather than the Elk model that I bought. He offered to credit me the purchase price (even though I did not buy it directly from him) and up grade to the Buffalo model. Now this is truly great customer service.

John, if you happen to read this, thank you very much for such a great product, your patience and the personal service that you gave me.

I've ONLY seen good copy here about them. I'm getting a Big Shot shortly, because of the comments. I wondered about the Elk and Bison difference. More money on the Bison, but also - pretty cool - a Buffalo glove.

Ive got a "Big Shot" that should be here today,  may even be in my shop mailbox now.   I used a Neet glove for my first year,  and they work fine, just a tad on the thick side.

Started searching for a new glove, and found that most were made overseas,  and while there may be nothing wrong with that,  I wanted to buy American.  I called American Leathers,  asked if they were made in the USA and he told me "yep,  they are made right here,  by ME..."  I liked that,  placed my order last wednesday.

I noticed the same difference between the elk and buffalo glove.  I only use the big shot for my higher poundage bows, and the buffalo felt noticeably better for bows where I need a lot of finger protection.

I've got their BS bison glove, as well as the matching armguard...great products!

I have three of them.  One tan elk, one chocolate elk and the wet shot for bowfishing.

I am 100% sold on the product.  At first the price may be a little intimidating however, you will receive years and I mean years of service from the glove.

I use my wet shot for everything.  Nothing feels or fits like that glove.

It is remarkable, how many big shot gloves are in my house.  We keep getting new ones when we cannot seem to wear out the old ones.  A liberal does of Neat Glove oil makes them nice and pliable and ready for more work after they get soaked with sweat and rain.

I have had nothing but great service from them.
