I have been surprised with the cast of the bow, in a light weight, about 45#. The bow has narrow limbs, compared to a Hill bow and small tips. A good shooter and quiet as a mouse.

They have become my favorite bow. I own two and they see about 80% of my shooting now. There is something special about Hill style bows and Dan's "Super D" in particular. Mine are exceptionally fast, smooth drawing, forgiving and the closest to actually being silent of any bow I've shot. They are also like all Toelke's beautifully made and If I can't figure how to put a couple of pictures with this reply I'll open a new post with some pics.

My buddy Andy from MT stopped over with some sweet Toekle bows, including a D bow.I got to shoot it and was quite impressed.Excellent.

I have shot 3 of them,  as with all Toelke's they are very quiet, perfect fit/finish,    best "D" bow ive shot so far by a long, long country mile.

I saw a picture in the Howard Hill book, with him standing in Africa gear.He  was holding a narrow limb bow, simular to the Toelike bow.I like the bow, it is well made and very quiet to shoot. The bow thumps the target hard with my wood arrows that weight around 550 grs.

Great bow! For me, it's gotta have the "D" or it's not a longbow!

I have really been thinking hard about getting a D bow. Was leaning towards a Hill bow but after this thread and looking at his website, will be a hard decision now. Great looking bows.
