My son has only harvested four deer in his life he is 15 and the first three was with a gun. The season always started out with bow only in hand but with the seasons coming to the end he would pick up a gun .He told me last year no more guns dad im going to do it just like you from now on well with blacktail season in its second weekend he done it . His first buck spotting and stalking with a bow a beautiful 2x2 at 25 yds. after three years of belly crawling he said ive done it dad .
