KEEP IT ! I had a guy look at my first Morrison, offered me what I had into it. I picked it up and headed up the hill about every 20 feet I went he would up the anti a $100.00. When I reached the top he yelled some huge amount and I went over the hill and never looked back.

I bought a Foley recurve from Ron last year.  I can't say if he can build you a bow EXACTLY like the one you shot, but I can say Ron is a great bow builder.
I've read a number of positive comments about Foley bows.  I'd take a chance and order one in the same specs as the bow you shot.  JMO.  Let us know what you decide.

I don't hardly ever sell anything. I guess that's why I never have any money.

Some bows will haunt you if you part with them. I had a Wilderness longbow best bow I ever had. That bow was a natural shooter for me. I regret parting with that bow to this day. I just looked at a spot and it seemed to draw my arrow from the bow to the spot I picked.

Many bowyer will tell you that not all bows are created equal--some will just come off the form and finish out especially sweet even when made from the same stuff as their other bows and in the same way, but for some reason they really can't explain one will stand out--what if your bow is one of those???  I would not part with it if you shoot it that well.  My vote--keep it.   :saywhat:
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Bowwild

I hope you are still shooting the bow well.  One strange thing I've noticed for me.  It seems EVRERY new bow I come into I shoot great groups with it right out of the "box".  Within a few weeks after the "new" has worn off I don't shoot it any differently than most of the other "old" ones.

Reckon that's why I'm 100% on buying "test-drive" bows.

Fortun81

Keep it! Sell him one of your other bows.
THere is an old saying, beware of the guy with only one gun, he probably knows how to use it. That kind of fits with bows too. If you find that "shooter", just use that one for everything, and you will get to know it so well that it's like part of your family. I have a black widow like that. Love it, became my everything bow. Before that I had 10 or more bows for everything. now, just one shooter.
If you hunt with your kids when they are young, you won't be hunting all over for them when they are teenagers.

BowMIke

Dfinately keep it! Jump on the phone and order another made as soon as possible!!

LongStick64

Glad you kept it, When you make a connection with a bow and it works with you, you keep it.

Number one , We don't know what you paid. Can you replace it with a new one for the price he is offering. How good a deal you got would make a huge difference. Other than those things. What the other guys said is true. If the bow fits its hard to sell it. LOL.
God bless you , Steve

moththerlode

Sell it and get one more challanging.
