My girlfriend and I went to the E.T.A.R. thurs. Awesome show.. Ill get to that later.

Well, when we were driving back to our motel after a day at the event, my girlfriend see's something along the road line. We stop, and sure enough there is a little face staring back at us from a drainage pipe. A 12 week old puppy just sitting in there hiding.

After a few minutes we find two more. We asked the neighbors in the area if they were anybodys but had no takers. A lady driving stopped and I asked her. She told me people drop pups they don't want out here all the time. At this point Im pissed and my girlfriend is ready to put that person who did this in the hospital.

They were a beagal mix with what one person said was a cow dag. Im not a dog expert so I do'nt know. We live in an apartment and are not allowed pets. judging from the size of their paws they were gonna be kinda big. So keeping them was not an option and either was leaving them out in the drainage.

So after feeding them a turkey sandwich and water... ( thats all we had in the car) off back to the E.T.A.R. I told the lady at the entrance our dilemma and she said we could ask around. Sure enough within an hour we had TONS of people who heard the story and passed the news around. We found three takers who gave them a home.

Its people like that, that show how good a heart people really do have. You Trad Guys are great!!!

Thanks Guys

Good on you both! Can't believe people would treat puppies like that, to just let them starve or be killed by predators. Right there in that story is a fine example of the low and high end of Human behavior. I'm not surprised the high end came from Trad folks.

Good on you and your girlfriend!!  You sound like my kind of folks.  As for the scum that would do such a thing to any animal; well I'm a firm believer in what goes around comes around and I sure hope they get what's coming to them!
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

Oh, they appear to be mixed with Australian Shepherd.  Beautiful pups, wish I were up there to bring one home!

As a veterinarian, I hear waaay too many stories like this that turn out badly for the pups. Bravo for those in our group who made this story a happy ending one!

I have absolutely no use for anyone who would do such a cruelty.

Thanks for having soft hearts.

God bless you both!
