Well it's getting close to that time of year again, only this year I have a special puppy that I want to get on some REAL blood tracks!

I will be taking calls for leashed dog wounded deer blood tracking this fall in CENTRAL AR. I'll travel up to 1 hr from Benton, AR.

I'm not charging to do this - I'm trying to help hunters recover deer and to get my dog onto more tracks. This is CHOWDER's's 1st year tracking and he hasn't been "field tested", so it will be interesting to see how he does.

I don't expect that high of a success rate on cold calls - but he has excellent bloodlines behind him, so it will be interesting to see how he does. My goal is to get Chowder onto at least 10 recoveries a year.

I'll track for bowhunters - both "modern" and traditional. I will not track deer shot with crossbows. Firearms wounded deer on a case by case basis depending upon the situation.

Chowder doesn't care about antlers at all - we're as happy to track a doe, or whatever.

Hey that's a pretty neat tracking dog you have there, around home I'm the guy everyone calls for tracking jobs. My lab is a waterfowl expert but I also trained him to track for me, it's alot of fun & you get to see alot of nice animals that you would never get called to go see if it wasn't for needing a tracking dog.
