I just want to say that I'm done lurking on the "other trad sites". I was completely turned off by a recent thread on another site that had multiple posts with very off-color remarks, and the mods allowed it to stay and flourish. People over there sometime complain about the "rules" and "restrictions" here on TG, but I'm personally very thankful for the oversight that the mods here apply.

Aside from the fact that the folks that are members here are very respectful and thoughtful in their comments, I appreciate the fact that I can allow youngin's to look over my shoulder when I'm on TG without a second thought.

Love this place!

I agree. This is the only site where you can post a question and not have to weed through all the smart comments to find your answer. I think the rules here are what makes it such a great site.

I am still a member on another small forum but don't go there but maybe once a week or so, there usually isn't alot of new threads or posts for that matter.  Tradgang is still the best.

I lurked around a few and read old threads as well as new before I joined here.  I was looking for a place just like this after becoming tired of a large archery forum that seemed to be nothing more than a cry baby reunion.  I can honestly say I have never left here remotely upset after reading threads on here.

This is a lot like a good family.  Lots of input a few disagreements but all polite and reasonable with no name calling or hard feelings.

I love it and appreciate the mods. work to keep it that way.

The rules make this a great site. The "other" site is a wreck.

Butch Speer's tag line says a bunch.

If we take personal responsibility for our behavior and esteem others above ourselves with the attitude of being a servant our lives are enriched by it.

I pray I will have no other need of our moderators than that of friend when it comes to how I treat my trad brothers and sisters since each is worthy of respect.

Each of us brings our own value with us and hopefully the total sum will add up to more than the whole.

The bar has been set and it's part of our responsibility to keep it at that level while striving to elevate it even higher.

Thank you to all who participate here with good will, charity and old fashion common courtesy and sense.

My 2 cents worth.

Thank you Tradgang!

With the love of Christ

The other sites don't compare, all I ever get from them are wisecrack remarks, comments about being the trad police, yada yada. No where do I get the sincerity as I do here. You all impress me with your knowledge and your honesty. There are posts on the other sites that make my skin crawl. Bottom line I feel for the animals we hunt, and hope there are more like us here in the woods rather than a bunch of puffed up, arrogant individuals that I come across outside of here.
This says nothing of the complete generosity always on display here.

TG is by far the best site out there IMO, the mod's do a great job!  No other site comes close.

All in all I have to agree, but trad gang is huge and the mods have there hands full here! we need to remember to watch what we say as for some of us our wives and kids read this stuff also! Just recentlly I had to explain that pigs in heat at a local bar was referance to a pig roast!

Trad Gang is my favorite site. The people on here are friendly, give great info and help when it's asked for. Sold two bows on here during the last four years I've been a member on here. And this site gets lots of posting traffic during a 24 hour time period. Gives me something to look forward to after my work shift is over.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.
