Guys and Gals do you buy new Hunting gear every year(the stuff you actually hunt with arrows,B heads,strings,fletching's,ect.). or do you just replace when needed.Do you feel more confident with new rather than the last years gear.If not new how old is your set up? Can you tell I am bored.

My current hunting bow (Blacktail Elite) is 5 years old. Before that I used a Brackenbury Drifter for 20 years. I tend to have long lasting affairs with my bows!

I build a few new arrows or buy some new broadheads as needed.

I also use an older Blacktail (13 years old) as my go to bow and replace everything else as needed.  Although...I will be breaking in a new Blacktail this year....hopefully next month!!   :goldtooth:

This year, new bow and new Arrowmaster quiver.  That should be it for a long while.  I need to get familiar with one weapon and quit tryin to switch around.  Arrows will be 2018's that are layin around plus some new surewoods I just built.  I will have some carbons by Sept.  Broadheads will be 125 Ace from the classifieds on the woodies and the same Razorcaps I've been shootin for two years in either 125 or 150.

The bows are mostly late 60s/early 70s, with some selfbows thrown in that are much newer, but function like much older bows.  Other stuff I replace as needed.
