I am looking to build some stone point arrows to hunt with this year. Would love to see your arrows. I know there are alot of great craftsmen on this site so lets see them. I don't knap so will be looking to buy the heads.

Thanks  Terry

Very nice!  Would those be copperhead skins on the arras?  SAWEET!

BUFF

WOW I am so jealous. I don't have an artistic bone in my body. great looking arrows

Chris Surtees

I had nothing to do with these arrows other than providing money...that is about the limits of my artistic talent:)

Points were knapped by Woody "Knife River" and the arrows were made Ted Fry at Raptor archery.

BUFF

are you going to hunt with them?
I would love to find some to buy and hunt with

I to am non talented....so looks like I will be making a call to Knife River....got some nice canes from the St Judes auction to attach them to (thanks Fred).....they look like real killers.

You bet...I have been carrying them over the last couple weeks. Just have not closed the distance for a shot on a rooter yet.

Shadowed a big boar for about 2 hours a couple day ago and then was busted when the wind shifted.

can't wait to see the pic's and read the story good luck....thanks for posting the pic's just what I was looking for.....something to drool over!

Chris, those are beautiful arrows for sure. Woody may be the most skilled knapper I have seen. Flakes he chips off and tosses away are better looking points than my finished attempts! Did I see that Woody was moving to GA?

Terry you likely have already done this, so pardon me for suggesting it, but be sure to check your State hunting regs for using stone points. Good luck with your stone point arrows this Fall!

Chris Surtees

You are most certainly right about Woody's skill...

Just heard from him and movers are coming tomorrow so he should be head this way soon.

As for knapping I am a master at making stone blunts:)

Ken Taylor

WOW! Absolutely beautiful from one end to the other!

Would it be out of line to ask what one arrow like that is worth approximately (money wise)?
May your next adventure lighten your heart, test your spirit, and nourish your soul.
