T Folts was generous enough to send me some goose feathers so that I could try my hand at chopping my own.  After some help from my JoJan, here's the final product with some new custom wraps from onestringer:







GT 3555 with 100 grain brass inserts.  Screw in a 125 grain Snuffer SS, and I'm ready for Sept!  

Looks good...Hope you get to paint them red in the fall.

The goose shoots just as well, and are just as durable, as turkey feathers.  I'm looking forward to seeing how well they shed water-- they are a typical recommendation in "water proofing feathers" threads.
