I have a bits that has rw clamp and a lw receiver, will this combo work for rw fletching? THANKS TERM

If your talking about the nob at the end that receives the nock that you turn for fletch placement no problem. I asked about that when I ordered my LW clamp and they said I did not need to change receiver.

If you have one Bitz you will probably never know the difference. If you have a bunch of them you will want them all to a left nock receiver and a left clamp for consistency arrow to arrow.

I have 6 I put on a lazy susan. I bought them used here and there over the years. I changed them all to left-left.

What is difference in the nock recivers that makes one left and one right?  For some reason I can get a picture in my mind of what the difference could be since the nocks go into the recieved without any angle.

The nock receiver dictates how the feathers are clocked in relation to the string groove.  Back in the old days, there was only one indexer, the one we now call straight or standard.  When the compounds came on the scene, fletching to cable clearance was an issue, so Bitz came up with the R & L indexers to tweak the helical feather position for better clearance.

Term, you may do fine with the setup you have, but I think you would like it better if they matched.  Fletch up a couple and see how they look.  I may have some extra R indexers, too.

If you use 4 fletchings there shouldn't be a problem...? I can see if there was a cock feather to be concerned with.
