Thanks for the compliments guys.

elkken,

The camera is a Panasonic FZ-30, which was discontinued less than a year after it came out. I kinda figured that for the price it cost that Panasonic figured that a person wouldn't have to purchase another camera for so long that they figured they better get it off the market. It really takes a pretty nice picture and has 12x optical and image stabilization.

Terry,

Your more than welcome to wander by anytime. There is always room for another trad-ganger.

Great photos Don, really liked the old house. Old structures have always intrigued me.

I love your end of the state!  I used to hunt in Ritchie Co., some of my fondest hunting memories are from there!  Never hunted in Wood Co. but always wanted to.  Great pics!!!!!

Winterhawk, love all the animal photos, but that old homestead pic with the barb wire fence trailing off, and the hills in the background is just about perfect to look at and think about John Denver singing "Almost Heaven, West Virginia ..." thanks for posting, and Happy Birthday to Mrs. "Winterhawk1960"  :wavey:

Nice country, some similar places and wildlife here in Nova Scotia, but not those two birds. Thanks for the looksee.

Real nice. Love the bunny and coyote.

Winterhawk, great photos. I always love the pic threads. Is that abandon homestead available? I'm ready to move in.

Nice pic of the birds. I didn't know that female scarlet's were yellow. I've only seen one male in CT, many years ago.

Hey Don,

Some of those areas look a little familiar! I still do most of my hunting at Slate Creek and Tucker Creek.

Looks like some great country. Someday I will have to venture back east and chase some whitetails. Thanks for sharing.
