He'd just taken his first shot about 10" out in the water...missed and the arrow disappeared under the weeds and never came up...down to 3 arrows...lesson learned!

The most unfortunate tadpole in the world! Cade shot and missed a frog and when he pulled his arrow out of the muddy bottom in the water he came up with this...

For anyone wondering...

Cade was shooting his longbow that tg'er Big Ed made for him last year, with wood arrows and field points.

I was using my 63# Kempf Kwyk Styk, wood arrows, and Red Feather Archery's Talon.

Time to hit the rack, gotta rest up for more night  bowfishing tomorrow night with Terry. Hopefully Cade will land his 1st carp!

Like I said in a thread yesterday I think frogs are the perfect first hunt for kids. They're stalkable and often give more than one shot.

Your videos are great, thanks for taking the time to post them.
