What's your draw length?

my draw length is 26"

Killdeer

Oh good! You draw abut the same as me.
You are pulling about 40 pounds on your bow, so I would suggest 1816 arrows cut to 28", just so that if your draw increases, there is some room for growth. Try these with a 125 grain head, I think they will work well. If they are still too stiff, use heavier heads.

I just remembered your reference to CE 150s. They are too stiff. Try CE 90s, working back from full length. Long Gold Tip 35-55s might do well for you also, experimenting with length and front weight.

thanks for the info. i might try ce90s.

Killdeer

The neat thing about Gold Tips is that they all take the same inserts from the weakest to the heaviest spines. You will find that the CE90s take a smaller diameter insert and nock, and all the extras, like heavy inserts and nock adapters (if you want to use glue-ons) are not available for them. Just a heads-up. Other than that, the CE 90 is a great arrow shaft.
