Anyone know where and/or how I can test fire or shoot one of these bows a couple times, before I purchase one?

PAPA BEAR

just get the mohawk then all your questions will be answered.    :readit:    :dunno:    :deadhorse:

I just found a used mohawk and bought it. The plan was to sell it if I didn't like it. I'm still shooting it.  It's pretty easy to find shrews and MOAB's also on this site. If your careful, and you buy them "right" it's pretty easy to turn them around for what you've got in them, minus shipping.

Eric Sprick

I'm a huge fan of Mohawks, I don't know that any of those bowyers have a "test drive".
As mentioned before keeping an eye on the classifieds you could probably get a pretty good deal on one and whatever you decide you could probably resell it for what you paid.  Eric.

To me they are all 3 very different styles of longbow.  One each would be the choice.

Gator1

I have shot a couple of these.

Have a Mohawk due in July sometime

 :goldtooth:

As mentioned, if you can shoot one first, makes a big difference.

HATCHCHASER

They are all very different.  I am sure Vince would let you try one out if he has one.  Those Mohawks sure are smooth and quiet.  Vince is one of the best I have dealt with too.
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

I have owned and shot all the bows on your list.       :readit:       I own 2 Mohawks and a third on the way.       :notworthy:

The Mohawk has a slight reflex/Deflex and really has a lot of cast. The bow is D-shaped when strung and the glue lines in the limbs are very clean. Vince really impressed me with the limb tips. The tips are small and they flow into the limb, their not big and thick and look like someone just put them on top of the limb.
