I have 1 doz clean uncut shafts that are 8.9 gpi and thought about trying to get these to work for either my 45# Selfbow, 55# longbow or my 60# longbow. I would prefer them to work for my longbows than see them go to waist. I have shot the green Nitro Stingers that were another guy's arrows that were feathered, and these were cut at almost 32" but seemed long for my 28" DL. But man these things flew like darts out of my 55# longbow.

The Nitro Stinger green are rated 8.5 gpi, and the golds are at 8.9 gpi.

I tried emailing the address at  http://www.unlimitedoutdoors.com/arrowdynamicspage.html  but got no response. These as you may know are a tapered shaft like Grizzly Stiks from Alaska Bowhunting. But the Arrow Dynamics site does not list spine ratings.

I don't have a carbon shaft cutter, so I'm trying to get some good advice here with having the shop cut them a 1/4" at a time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

1st off....they are 110-115 spine.

2nd, they are not tapered like Grizzlys.  Grizzlys are tapered from one end to the other, and ADs are parallel - tapered - parallel.

You will not get those arrows to fly out of those weight bows...and cutting them will only make it worse.

Yep, that's what I thought.  Getting good advice is worth more than a pocket full of money sometimes.

Thanks

How long are they now?  I may know someone that could use them if you want to sell.

I like the stingers but they are stiff, I shoot them out of my 65+# longbows cut to or past center with LOTS of weight up front. like Terry said, they are not like the grizz sticks. I prefer the arrow dynamics for quality and made in USA. for The bows you listed i would think a traditional lite would be your choice. I too maybe interested in the stingers if Terry don't need them. Good luck

These are 1 dozen uncut, never fletched 32 1/4" bare shafts with white nocks and inserts.

I will ask my son what he wants to do with them, as they are his, but he is not going to use them I believe.

Post Edit:

I just spoke with my son, and he said go for it, as he don't need them either.

If you decide they won't work for you or your son. There are a few of us here that need those heavy spined shafts.
