Lucky for sure. I lived there for six years(we looked after Ma during her final years) and put in as a resident every year - zip, nada, noth-ing, no-way, no-how - LOL.

LOL - Depends on where he's hunting but  - thar's some hills in them thar mountains, ay-yuh!  

(My brother-in-law from NH drew a non-resident tag twice in Main also. The funny part is there are less of those offered, so the odds are higher - go figure.)

Great news Biggie, good luck on the hunt. I've heard some folks go up that way around September just to see the Fall color of the leaves. From the photos I have seen of those "woods on fire" colors, just being in the New England area at that time is worth the trip. Now you get to be up there in those beautiful woods, and hunting moose too. Have a great time, and take lots of pics of the north woods for us southern boys. And I hope some of your pics have a moose in them too!
