When the feather chopper blade get's dull. What is the best way to sharpen it?

Thanks
Steve

Grey Taylor

Personally, I'd send it back to the manufacturer for sharpening.

Tie two birds together; though they have four wings, they can not fly.

You don't really sharpen them, you replace them.

Instructions say never sharpen the blade. Not sure why.

So you buy a new one  ;)

If you don't sharpen them evenly you may not get a good chop.  If you're careful to keep everything lined up, there's no reason not to sharpen the blades if they get dull.  If you're at all "sharpening challenged" just send them back.

I'm at about 20 doz on one of mine and it still cuts well though.

I'll just get a new one. Maybe the one made by Bear Paw.

I just use the AccuSharp. Seems to put an edge back on.

I just bought one that cuts banana cut and it has one spot, about 1/2" long, that doesn't chop. It's like the blade isn't going all the way down. I use a razor blade to finish the job which is quite effective but takes more time.
