I started my retirement today and I am a little confused. How many arrows a day should I shoot and which shoots should I attend? If anyone sees a guy at Compton,Denton Hill etc with a grin on his face that won't stop, it is probably me.Stop in and say hi.  Bob

Bob,
I know your enjoy your retirement! I retired in 1994 after 24 years of military service. I've enjoyed everyday of it and look forward to many more. Enjoy it and do what you want to!!!! This human life must come to an end someday..I want to do as much as I can while I'm here. Stop by the booth at Compton and say HI!

Congratulations on your retirement. It's a good 10 years away for me, and I am looking forward to it. Shoot as much as you want to -- and go to as many shoots as you like.

Bob,

To quote that infamous hunter from TV, "Be vewy, vewy careful!!"  You may have so much other stuff to do that you won't have time to shoot.  I retired in September and, quite honestly, I've never been so busy.  Stuff I had put off, new stuff, the bosses stuff, stuff I've always wanted to try but never quite got there.  I love my retirement, but may need to go back to work so I can havesome free time.  Naw, ain't gonna happen!!!

Enjoy it, it's great.

It may require some sacrifice on your part and its an awfully demanding work(fun too) but somebody's got to do it.

It might as well be you!

CONGRATS!!!!!!!

I have 3 DECADES left!

Do whatever you want.  Most people my age don't want to think about anything over 40...I simply can't understand that...seems to me that, even with the disappointments and pain,  life gets better and better as you go.

Congrats Bob ..... I have been retired two years the end of this month. I shoot my bow most days and certainly more than when I worked. I still can't get over the feeling of being able to do whatever I want whenever I want, with in reason of course because the young bride still works. I wish you a long and healthy retirement .... Ken

I just retired this week and it really doesn't seem possible that I am at that stage in my life to be able to retire. The time sure did pass by fast. I can remember growing up Mom & Dad saying the older you get the faster time goes. Boy were they right.
