Thinking about picking one of these up and was wondering how tough they are to get  "hunting quiet"  compared to a regular bolt down TD.

not hard at all. i have a gamemaster2, dorado, and an excel. the excel and dorado only required one set of string leeches and a 7 1/4" brace. the gamemaster though, required limb pocket padding, higher brace, padded string where it meets the strng grooves, and extra silencers. but keep in mind my draw is 26". vermonster also has an excel and he'll tell you its the quietest ilf he's shot.

My buddy has one with Samick limbs, it's super quiet. He does have some padding on the string lays.

Thanks guys...  I was just under the impression that the ILF thing was noisy compared to other takedowns.  At least that's what I've always read on here.

Well I dont own an ILF system , but I just shot one at Rod Jenkins Bow Class.  Have to say I am very impressed with just how quiet it was.  The ILF system has so many different ways to tune a bow, like better string alignment. Has me wanting one.

i thought the same thing before i bought the excel. i think everybody should try one just once:) so many options!
