we apologize for the slow trad gang access and response problems encountered by most of the members last night.

along with our server host tech, we'll be closely monitoring the site starting at 7pm ET this evening.

at this point we have no hard evidence as to why there were slow response issues.  all of the hardware was running at virtual idle, with a very light load at best.

that leaves at least two areas of concern - network traffic and forum software.  we're leaning more towards a software issue at this point.

if necessary, our current 'plan b' is to move the auction forums to an isolated sister server for the duration of the auction.

Last night in Opava Czech Republic it worked fine.  Today in Barcelona Spain it appears to be fine.  I will see about sending when I press

Whip

Seemed sporadic to me.  Even last night I would do fine for awhile, then suddenly it would drag.  Did something else for awhile and came back and it was fine for awhile then would drag again.

This morning got on OK, then it went slow again.  Last couple of hours have been fine.
