Has anyone had success with these blinds?  I never could get a close shot with my Double Bull.

I don't have experience with the hidden hunter blinds but before you buy you might want to look at the ghostblind at ghostblind.com.  I hunted turkey this year with mine and had them in front of me at five yards, never knew I was there.  Can't wait to try it on deer this fall.

WESTBROOK

I have a Hidden Hunter and like it a lot, but as with all blinds you will have to brush it in well to get a deer close to it.

I have just started using them this spring. No kills out of them yet but the birds and so far the deer i saw while in them walk right by. i am looking to deer hunt out of tw of them this fall and will give you a better up date then. i am impressed with how well they shed water. The wind flap can be bad though. but since DB was sold and the blinds are now made in China I think the quality has definitely left the building

I used mine successfully for antelope last fall. I like it a lot. Quick set up and take down, nice tight mesh, pick horizontal or vertical ports to shoot thru. My only problem with the blind was the poles along the side need to be a bit stronger. In the high winds of the plains of WY I had the side collapse a time or two, but all I had to do was push bend the polls back out, and ready to go. All in all I like my hidden hunter better than my buddies duble bull.

Are they high enough to shoot a 66" long bow, without the top limb hitting?

Jack Skinner

I would say yes. I got caught sitting on my *** in a beach (lounge) chair, pretty tall and could still shoot my 65inch selfbow. I cant more than most but still. If you are in a normal hunting type chair I dont see a problem with a 66inch bow, and from your knees no issue.

WESTBROOK

I can shoot my 66" out of it.

I use my Hidden Hunter blind regularly. Great quality, easy up and down, made in America! Randy and Ken, the owners and "inventors" are traditional archery guys from Michigans UP. Buy a Hidden Hunter rather than some "made in vietnam" crap!

Bob Miller

I used one last season and killed several deer and a turkey.  Great blind and I have shot a 64" ntn selfbow with no problems.
Bowhunting is not just a way of life, it is also fun.
