Well I have it narrowed down to SD for my trip in August.  What county would you focus on?  I am looking for any advice to make this trip enjoyable.  I hope to see some goats and maybe get a shot at one.  I am all ears and eyes taking any info people are willing to share.  Thanks.

If you are looking at a DIY hunt on public or walk-in land look in Butte and Hardin counties. They have lots of goats and few people. Make sure you have a good pack to get them out and you are in shape enough to walk a few miles to get to them. Send me an email for more info ryanalstat@yahoo.com

You might also check National Grassland areas. Have fun. GFP has interative maps.
