Well my secret supply of old ACME shafts has finally run out.

Who has weight and spine matched cedars that are worthy of world class?

Looking for about 47# spine and light weight also would like 5/16 if possible.

Thanks,

Mike

I am building 3 dz for a customer going to the IBO Worlds.  They are tapered Sitka Spruce from Hildebrand.  Wt matched with in 2 grns spined within 3lbs.  The wts are around 370-372 full length.  You could get the wt down with a barrel taper if you wanted.

I'm only shooting 46# at 30.5 on my primitive bow and the 47# spine I have now fly great with 125 gr pts.

Would like to get my weight down to about 8.5 gpp if possible.

sorry i gave up on cedar .. try sitca spruce or shurewoods doug fir... light wieght is hard to come by but no impossible . if you find your perfect arrows are in limited suply than it might by wise to find an alternative material for risky shooting and outdoor compititions.
too bad you didnt think of that while you had those ACME shafts .  :banghead:
form is everything! shoot well shoot hard.

Give Hildebrand a call, I know they can find some shafts that will work for you.

Hildebrand has some nice stuff. They were recommended to me by Dan Toelke.

Try the Feathered Shaft.  I like heavy arrows, but the dozen (spruce) I bought are all almost identical.  Spined PERFECT to 63# and within just a few grains from the heaviest to the lightest.
