Have I mentioned this Orion is a keeper?

I took a few shots with my Dryad Orion 58" longbow this evening. I think I am in love!

This was at 16 yards. Yeah, I kinda flinched with that one, but not enough to miss a critter!

This is a very Kanati-like group! I built out the sideplate on the Orion and I am shooting the same arrow setup with both my 46# Kanati and my 53# Orion, and I am getting the same level of accuracy with both.    :bigsmyl:
Kanati 58" 44# @ 28" Green glass on a green riser
Bear Kodiak Magnum 52" 45# @ 28"
Bodnik Slick Stick longbow 58" 40# @ 28"
Bodnik Kiowa 52" 45# @ 28"
Kanati 58" 46# @ 28" R.I.P (2007-2015)
Self-made Silk backed Hickory Board bow 67" 49# @ 28"
Bear Black Bear 60" 45# @28"

I just hope my taking this wonderful bow off your hands helped you finance "the One" for you. I now have two bows in which I have absolute confidence. I can pick up either this Orion or my #46 Kanati and know right where the arrow is going. I still need to fiddle with the Orion a bit to get it as quiet as the Kanati, but I think it's doable. It's pretty quiet right now, just not Kanati quiet...yet. The shooting part is no problem!         :archer:

Oh it did I assure you, it's just that the term "the one" has a very broad and multiple meaning to me...     :D

Glad you like it!  Mike and the gang make a fine bow!
