Jason agreed to use me as a test case for shipments to Canada! All went well with delivery via USPS. Only delay was Canada Customs for 6 days. (My guess is all the archers that work there had to have a look at it before they would release it!)

My 58" Kanati is everything everybody on here says it is and more. Mine's a walnut riser with bamboo limbs with black and tan overlays. Very fast and stable.

Jason is a great guy to deal with. Now Canadians can benefit from his craftsmanship.

Be good to allay some fear about shipping up here. I see lots of USA only in the ads here. UPS comes this way, but maybe there's more to it than I know?? Definately some BS with extra duty and maybe a problem with it being a "weapon". Of Mass Destruction if you've seen Robin Hood!!
There IS some concern around a lot of stuff like that now. Cabelas isn't allowed to ship scopes or walkie/talkies to Canada, for instance.

I think there's a lot of misunderstanding out there re: shipping to Canada. It is almost painless if you ship USPS. All you have to do is fill out one USPS customs form (which can be done online) and mail it out.

On this form, the shipper specifies the insured value, which is then used by Canada Customs for determination of the applicable taxes. This will be paid by the recipient at the post office at time of pick up. The whole procedure is pretty much seamless. I've had several bows shipped up this way with no problems whatsoever.

BTW DO NOT SHIP via UPS! They charge a ridiculous fee for brokerage.

They are a great bow , I love the woodland camo limb vanners with grey riser . If I get another thats what I want .

I have discussed it with my small town PO for years and they kept telling me they couldnt ship insured to Canada.

Lucky for me, Harry new more about the PO than they did, he set me up with the correct forms and everything. Thank you for that Harry!

The only down side is it does cost a little more to ship and then there are the "applicable taxes" when you pick it up as Harry mentioned above.

It was a good deal Jason, I couldn't afford not to buy it LOL

That looks kind of familiar! This is my baby. Walnut dymondwood riser with amberboo limbs, 58" and 46# @28". It is the sweetest shooting bow I've ever shot. I have several bows, but this seems to be the one that ends up in my hand when I go hunting.

Yup, I've got the same woods as you, only difference being the black/tan overlays instead of the black/red on yours.

This one is 58" 45@28

Sidenote: This bow is quick, shoots within 3-4 fps of my 52 and 53 lb bows with exact same arrow. Been getting the best scores I've ever done on the 3D shoots. Can't wait to try it out on a real critter this fall!

I'm not sure what kind of magic Jason uses to get these little bows to spit arrows out so fast, but I'm sure glad he does it! And it saves wear and tear on old joints!

I'm still kind of unsure on them. They penetrate like no other, but if I'd have shot that buck just before dark instead of first thing in the morning, trailing would have sucked! He only made it about 90 yards. I could see him from where the arrow was lying, but there wasn't much of a blood trail. He pretty much bled out internally.

I've used Snuffers and Woodsman before and gotten MASSIVE blood trails. I was shooting a little heavier bows, though, so I thought I needed to go with a two blade. The Deltas are BIG, but they don't quite leave the gaping exit hole of a three blade. They zip through so fast it is amazing though. Unfortunately, I zipped one through a turkey this spring, and it managed to get airborne. After hours of searching, even with the aid of a dog, my cousin and I didn't find him, so I bought some big old 160 grain Snuffers for next turkey season. I may even use them for deer if I take my Orion hunting.
