I have 150gn snuffer which have 3 blades and 150gn stingers that are 2 blade. They both fly awesome for me. Just wondering because of my lbs and draw would it be in my best interest to forget the snuffers and use the stingers for penatration. 44lbs@ 26" 456gn arrow.

Game going to be hunted deer and turkey.

PS: This short draw thing wigs me out sometimes.

You should be fine with either so long as you put them where they belong.

Of the two, the Stingers would be my choice.

2 Blade for me.  Decreased surface area = increased penetration.  Having said that a 3 blade in the chest cavity at that poundage = dead.

I shoot a Kohannah Kurve and at my draw it pulls about 38#'s. I used a snuffer at 125grs. and had no problem with penetration.

You'll be fine with both as long as they are nice and sharp and put it on the mark.

I would trade the snuffers in on some of the VAP heads if I wanted to shoot a 3 blade.Would go with a bigger 2 blade head or use bleeders in the stingers.jmo

I shoot light weight bows also at whitetail deer. I have found over the years that a thinner diameter broadhead with more weight behind it is the key to better penetration. Not as much drag or friction going through.

Between those two heads I would stick with the two blade.

Your draw is your draw that's just the way it is-don't fret; both your BH'd will work just fine on Turkeys and Deer. Just focus on your shooting skills.

My  wife shoots about what you shoot. With a Beman MFX cut to 27" and 200 grains up front she shoots four blade Phantoms thru deer and bear. I used to shoot Snuffers but even with heavier bows i had trouble at times with penetration when shooting from tree stands.

ive used the sasquatch broadheads and u would think by the hole in the deer that i hit it with an axe lol give great blood trails

a heavyer head with a shorter arrow will blow thru any animal just cuz of kenetic energy

now you seen the bloodtrail those snuffers leave..you were there for my first trad kill..ya go with the stingers and gimme those snuffers  

44# is not a lot, so try the stingers. Better to sharpen,too and you want them to be scary shaving sharp. I would also look for small bleeder inserts for deer, becasue the fatlayer on the deer may clode the deadly wound and you'll have nothing to trail. I am drawing 25.5, but shoot between 60 and 65#. A little more zip....

If you are a left-handed bowhunter any of those broadheads will simply bounce off a deer ....so you can send that thing (1970's Bear TD) to me and I'll swap you something that will go through an engine block. Kidding aside. I shoot just 2-3 pounds more at 26 inches. My Plan A is the 2-blade Stinger -- scarey sharp. However, I'm going to try some single bevels as soon as a buddy sends me some prototypes. Personally, I have no experience with 3-blades out of recurves. I love the 3-blade Montec out of my compound (carbon-stainless too hard to sharpen) but I'm not considering it out of my lighter recurve set-up. I shot 2-blade bears without bleeders for many years after most people quit using them with terrific results. Of course most important: Fly true, razor sharp, and ethical shot choice(your ethic, not mine or someone elses's.
