OOOOOOOOOO Purdy, hold still I'll get a towel.

Both are 62". The Assenheimer is 48@28 and the Dye is 56@29. Cherry riser and veneers on the Assenheimer (Elite bow). Bocote veneers on the Dye, not sure what the riser is.

Two great bows. Shelfs are on the wrong side though.

Wow!  Both are stunning.  But I, too, like that Assenheimer!

Dave, the lams on the Dye look like Dale's medicine wood, not bacote. The riser looks lie cocobolo and rosewood or maybe bloodwood.

Couple of beautys there.

You could be right Danny. I need to see it in person to get a better idea. The fellow thought the limbs were Bocote, but he had that bow in the rack because he thought it was to pretty to hunt so she was a closet queen since bought new.

Very nice!  and I was relieved to see it was not James Taylor you were anticipating---( Song was written by Carly Simon, in "anticipation" of the evening date she was going to have with him.)
That bows got James Taylor with or with out ketchup beat seven ways to Sunday.

Dave...Dave...Dave! You sure don't make it easy for a man to stop the craving.   "[dntthnk]"

Sweet looking bows. Look forward to the shooting results.

David,

Terrific looking bows. I understand  Assenheimers are really good shooters. I have never shot one but would like to one of these days. Let us know how they shoot.

Gorgeous bows there, Dave. If they shoot as good as they look, then you'll be "dead eye Dave" for sure!

The fellow I got it from Louis swears by them. He actually has a beat up one that is his go to bow. This one he couldn't bring himself to take into the woods. It is only 2.5 years old and needs some shooting. I'll post more pics and impressions next week. Haven't done that for a while and have had some real good bows pass through my hands the last few months. Been doing more shooting than pic taking and writing.    :)

You will love the Assenheimer. They are sweet shooters for sure.

I agree with Danny. I don't think those limbs are bocote. They are darn nice though!

You are a sick person Dave...in a good way though! Way to keep the economy going!
