Knowing the bow was on it's way, I figured it would arrive during the week. This night, I even dreamed about it (again). Today, after lunch, I spoke with the guy in charge of incoming shipments. Told him: "If you receive a long package this week, it is probably mine. And it's been a long time comin'." - to my surprise, he told me that such a package already arrived early this morning, and that my father had already taken it to his office. So, I rushed up to my fathers office. My father was not in sight, but... the package was there! I could barely withstand just tearing the package open, buuut I managed to get a hold of myself. Instead, I decided to share my excitement here on TradGang.

All there's left for me to do, is to work for a couple more hours, before I can finally get home and behold(!) the sight of my new bow!

Well, neither can I  :D

The bow is 64" long and pulls 70# @ 30". The riser is made of Ebony. Limbs are Padauk with Boo core, with siyahs of East Indian Rosewood. I'm extremely anxious to see the outcome of this wood combo.

I weighed the bow yesterday. It weighs only 17,6oz. That's what I call a light bow!

Pictures will be up and running when I get home from work.

Andreas,

Going on how long it has taken to get your Saluki, mine will be another 6-8 months....!

Post your pictures mate..!  It will keep me going for a little while longer..

How does she shoot...?

Cheers Guy..

TheFatboy

Guy,

Took me a full year. But then again, I did have some special requests for woods. I think it was worth the wait. Not sure about the performance yet, I didn't have time to shoot when I got home yesterday    :banghead:
