I know you are going to say were are the pictures -- their website does a much better job than me!!! I have one of each of their models except Endevor. I believe the Original Model may provide the most forgiveness of all of their bows and also the least amount of sound!!!If you have not tried one give it a try it will add to your shooting pleasure, Thanks Jerry.

When I was trying to decide on which Dwyer model to order I was going back and forth between the Original and the Dauntless.  David described the difference as being between driving a Cadillac and a Corvette.  Very accurate description, I thought.  It was a tough choice, but I bought the original....

I got an Endevor in  March.  Cocobola riser, bamboo core with yew on the face and the back.  This is probably the most beautiful bow I have ever owned.  Great customer service as well.  Dave missed my target weight by a couple of pounds.  Sent me the bow and told me if I decided I wasn't happy with the weight I could keep shooting it until he could make me a new bow.  He's never getting this one back!!!!

This is timely for me as I've been to the Dywer site a million times looking and dreaming. My choices have come down to the same as Whip's, but planned to talk to the Dwyers first of course. I think their tip detail is some of the best I've looked at. I like the "add ons" as well - stringer, really neat looking string keeper and bow sock. Be my first longbow and it's been a battle with the Mowhawk in the running.

A 66" Dwyer Original longbow is a hard one to beat if you're looking for narrow limb, deep core design. I've owned several different Dwyers and the original is my favorite.

You should realy enjoy that bow Jerry, the Dwyers make a mity fine LB!

I love my original Dwyer Longbow.  The only problem is it about 5 lbs lighter than what I really like for hunting.  Great bow for shooting around at whatever though!

The same thing happend to me, must be an issue with the Endeavors.  I got bamboo core, bacote riser, zebra wood on belly and back.  Gorgeous bow but he missed my weight by about 5# told me the same thing.  I told him I would never give this silent laser beam shooting beauty back.

Endeavor's are absolutely wicked bows.

Thanks eric, I am back into the D bow swing of things I keep getting drawn back to this style of bow. Really like shooting them, very consistant, accurate, whisper quiet, and my bow arm just seems so solid, a real pleasure to shoot. Thanks again Jerry.

I have two a dauntless and a defient. I like the smoothness of the dauntless.  It is less weight by 5 pounds or so. Both are beautiful and very well made. I think these bows are sleepers. I am sure you will enjoy yours for some time.

I'm really enjoying my 68" original (61#)...especially after refinishing it. In my opinion you really can't compare the different models. My Defiant is indeed shorter, wider and quicker at 'only' 57 pounds, but there's really something to be said for those long smooooooth limbs of the original which also cast a heavy woody with authority, but the Dauntless is definetely a bow I hope to acquire someday too.

Thanks Limbolt, Adam, This such a great sport we hhave. Shot all 3 Dwyers tonight, love them all and think the length of the original provides me some additional accuracy / confidence. Is that strange, or is just simply mental, thanks Jerry.
