I got a package in the mail today that was totally unexpected. Rod Jenkins sent me 4 wonderfully made cane/bamboo self arrows. They are fletched with what looks to be wild turkey feathers, have self nocks and some of the coolest homemade field tips I've ever seen.

I'll try to get some pictures up of them as soon as possible.

Thank you Rod! If I need to send you anything for them please let me know.

God bless,Mudd

PS Somebody else know just how much I hate making arrows...lol

Very cool Mudd. Rod is one of the good guys even if he doesn't wear a white hat. haha

I'm worrying that I made a trade or something for them and just not remembering it. I pray I'm not having a "Doh!" moment.

I would hate it if that were the case.

I took them out back and shot them out of an appropriate bow for them. It's one of my favorites that I don't get to shoot nearly enough but I can't help it. It's a Bamboo backed hickory 72" n-t-n and 55@28. I wish it didn't wear my shoulder out so quick but unfortunately that's not the case. In fact I think you're going to see a couple of my higher end favorites on the board soon. I want to shoot as long as I possibly can and if that means going down more in weight then so be it.

Looks like I'm not very observant either..lol they are fletched with two turkey and one goose.

God bless,Mudd

I think they are crooked, Mudd. Better send them on up to Iowa so I can properly dispose of them!
