I'd rather hold a recurve than shoot a compound

Nice bird Steve. Nice pics too. Is that grey I see starting to crop up on the noggin? How'd your Dad do this year?

Joebuck, you must be able to "sing the battle hymn of the republic and wistle dixie with equal enthusiasm"...you see I think you tuned it just the opposite for my yankee birds. These folks 'round here just love a southern accent and I believe the yankee toms came lookin' for a small town southern hen   :goldtooth:

Congrats Steve! Please re-size your pix though....I just couldn't bring myself to delete it for being too big      :notworthy:

Good stuff Steve!

Joey...how did I miss getting a Wooden Hen in Nashville?  Heck...I bought everything else that was sold there!

You are on the way to my favorite duck hole.  I might have to stop by this January.  Surely you have a Wooden Hen/Duck call special combo deal, yes?

Steve Leffler

Sorry Guru.  I jst resized them on PB.  Do I need to change the links also?

Greg, that is some gray on top.  Natural camo right?  My dad hasn't gotten a bird yet.  We have been hunting together a lot of mornings but he wasn't with me when I got this one.  Hopefully his chance will come soon.  Have you had any luck?

Steve, I'm finding the birds to be very decoy shy where I'm hunting. They seem to hang up around 50 yards. I even bought a new she-mobile in case my old decoy was too wore out. Nothing! At least they're around this year. Today I'm going bowfishing.
