Hey everyone think I got a new bow style for you here. Its pretty much like putting two tuneing forks togther at the handles. I don't have it made yet but I do have the drawing. I'm curious as to know wheather it would work or if anyone's seen this style before.

How I see how it should work is there need to be trwo bow strings the exact same length and the two bow strings need to be served in the middle as to prevet a horizantal pull of the arms. For more info you can e-mail me at lasttemplar3@yahoo.com and I'll give you all the dimentions etc.
To think requires a great amount of thought

Make it and show us  :)

There's no reason it would not work, but tillering will be hard, at best ^^
Since the string will not be aligned with the handle through the whole bow the effect it will have on the limbs is twisting them slightly, but I do not know how this will affect the arrow (or anything else for that matter..

Have you seen the "Penobscot" longbow? It incorporates two pairs of limbs, but has them aligned.. Only likeness I could think of..

your gona need to shoot double knocked arrows out of that bad boy unless you put a pit through the top and bottom knock all and all It doesn't look terribly efficient but hey props 2 you for trying.

There's a similar 4-limbed bow in one of the TBB... vol 4 I think.  The limbs are spaced farther apart, a string on each pair which are joined by a third string.  They nocked the arrow on the third string.
