I was on stand for my first trad hunt tonight. I had a small bear hitting my bait so I went out to have a look at it. I waited 3 hours untill just getting dark with nothing showing. I was ready to climb down when I heard something comming my way. I figured that I should wait around to see what the little bugger looks like. I'm sitting there with my bow still on the hook when a good bear walks out at 14yds and stands broad side. I slowly grabbed my bow and came to full draw but it was too dark to see the shoulder clear enough so I let down. I watched it for a few more minutes then broke a small branch so it would leave. I'll try again in a couple of days. Hopefully I'll get another chance.  >>> RAY

Nice job on holding out for a better shot.

Good luck on your next trip out.

Thanks, My trail cam was beaten up  by a bear at my deer stand last fall. I soldered it back together and have it at this bait. So I may at least have a few pics.( If it still works ). I will check it Sunday. >>>> RAY
