Bob,
Look right below where it says new topic, post a poll, post reply.

MOABs are fantastic bows. Smooth, quiet, fast & hit where you're looking.
God Bless

I really like mine.  I have a 60" and draw about 29 1/2" without issue.

From what I hear, the deer and hogs just lay down and die if you got one in your hands.

Well, I just received mine this week.  Finally got to shoot it tonight.  Now I love my Morrison's, but man that 60" MOAB is a smoking bow.  I've had a couple of 58" MOABs which were a bit lighter than this one and I like heavier bows.  This one won't go anywhere, quiet, smooth, dead in the hand, and shoots where I look.  Performance is up there, but probably not the fastest out there.  It's manners truely make up for the few fps that it's lacking over the "top" performers.

You won't be sorry with the purchase, I'm not, and this is literally the first "new" bow I've ordered in about 10 years.  The 58"ers got me hooked but the 60" landed me.  Great bows!

I took mine out and shot it some yesterday.  I have been shooting my Schafer recurves almost exclusively for 6 months and my first arrow from my MOAB caught me by surprise.  It seemed very fast and I wasn't expecting that after shooting my Schafers.

You will enjoy the smoothness and the "deer might lay down and die but the hogs are still doging me"

I did some more shooting today with my new MOAB along side my other two Cougars.  All three are 60" bows, the MOAB is 68# @ 29", and the two Cougars are 73# and 74# @ 29" respectively.  Shooting the same arrow out of each... 31" 75/95 Goldtip Expedition with 250 grain field points and weighted 160 grain Magnus 1's (260 total).  Total arrow weight right at 600 grains, 8.8 gpp with the MOAB and right at 8 gpp with the other two.

The MOAB shot right with the heavier Cougars. I actually shot two arrows from each bow into a total 6 arrow group.  Kinda scary at 20 yards as they all were very tight.  At 40 yards they opened a bit but all were intermingled with each other.  I.E. no small 2 shot groups could be identified...  I was impressed with the performance from the MOAB running with the heavier Cougars.  As far as manners went, everything was pretty equal except for the noise factor.  The MOAB was quieter than both of the Cougars, but I put rather large wool puffs on the MOAB.

All three are very similar in design, but the MOAB has a bit more reflex in the last 8" - 10" of the limb.  All this being said, I like all three of the bows and can't wait to get some blood on the MOAB.  And I'm thinking real hard on ordering another 60"er about 10# lighter.  Great bows!

That's been pretty much my experience.  You can add  black bears too if you like.  ;)
