I lowered the overall weight of it by cutting out some of the wire. It seems to work as well without the entire panel and is considerably lighter.

Wow Mudd:

I like this even better than the youtube vid I saw of a guy that covered his draw arm with a quiver blind apparatus.

Very nice.

Just like "Camo Arrows". You Shoot Them, and then  CANNOT  Find them because they  BLEND  into the Woods so Well!! My Luck, I would set it down, and Never  SEE  it again!!      :readit:    :archer2:

Great work Mudd.. How is the plate attached to the welded wire?  It looks tack welded in place..?

It has no effect on the limbs whatsoever. The bow does seem a little quieter with it on.

There are two small plates that are welded together with the wire sandwiched in between. I will be cutting out more of the wire to lighten it up even more.

I bet if you can braze, it would work as well as welding. I think there are some small torches that will reach temps needed for brazing that aren't nearly as expensive as a welder.

Sure beats that silly thing that was in all the hunting mags a few years back that was similar in design but was a 2x2 or larger sheet of mylar.  It reflected very well and the idea was it blended perfectly with every enviroment because it reflected that enviroment back.  I could only imagine what a giant mirror mounted on the front of your bow would do when it hit sunlight???

Your idea is sweet!

It has been a while Daniel. Where have you been?

I think I can say my blind works even though I didn't get a turkey.

I had two coyotes at one time that I counted coupe on and neither one ever knew I was anywhere around.

Welcome back my friend!
