I am told that using arrow wraps will stiffen up the arrow's spine.  It makes sense to me.
What is your experience? Does it make a slight or large difference?

Mine are reflective and made of a sort of metalized plastic and feel stiffer but my wraps are towards the back of the arrow (under the fletching) so I don't suppose they make any difference there.  They add weight, and since I am shooting a 68# longbow and like throwing heavy arrows down range, they work for me.

They will minimally stiffen the spine.  I would be incredibly surprised if you could tell a difference unless you were putting two sets of wraps on.

I have found that there is a difference to both the stiffness and foc of the arrow. It is not huge, but did require a couple of extra twists in the string to bare shaft to fletch tune properly compared to arrows without the tapes.

Thanks Patrick
That's what I thought.  I didn't know if the difference would be noticable. The weight would certainly be neglegible when looking at the weight of the arrow.
